Refreshing Lavender Mint Lemonade
Cooling Mint, Alkalinizing Lemon and soothing Lavender blend to make a gourmet twist on a summer staple. Mint not only cools the body but it also soothes and aides digestion. Add Raw local honey to taste and dissolve into warm water. Honey is a great sweetener because it is anti bacterial, anti viral, anti fungal and is loaded with enzymes.
Use a tea ball filled with lavender and steep overnight to keep it raw and the delicate flavor will be there for you the next day.
Delicious Lettuce Wraps
A Summery alternative to salad!
This colorful dish is full of colorful vitamins and pink salt minerals. This is a great dish to serve completely raw and the more raw food we add to our diet, the happier our digestive systems are! And the cooler we feel!
1/2 red pepper
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup shredded purple cabbage
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 cup chopped mint
mix and stir in…
2 cups raw cashews (or almonds or pumpkin seeds)
juice of 1 lime
1 pinch of Himalayan Pink salt
garnish – black or white sesame seeds (optional)
Prepare and clean 1 head of iceberg or red leaf lettuce
Simply fill lettuce leaves with asian veggies and enjoy!
Feel free to add a drizzle of hoisin sauce, that is the traditional condiment for this szechwan classic although not considered raw.
