The Phoenix office City of Hope, one of the nation's leading centers for cancer treatment and research, announced the official launch of its third annual Yoga for Hope event taking place Sunday morning, October 21, 2012. Yoga For Hope will be hosted poolside on the rooftop of The W Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. Yoga for Hope is an event for everyone regardless of their level of yoga experience (or lack thereof).
Its mission is to raise enough money to fund the necessary resources to find a cure for cancer. The proceeds from this event will directly benefit research for new, less invasive treatments and ultimately a cure for all cancers, diabetes and other life threatening diseases.
The Yoga for Hope event was born out of City of Hope's efforts to pair complimentary, alternative/integrative therapies like yoga and meditation with patients traditional medical treatment programs.

The Yoga for Hope event will bring more awareness to the benefits of a strong mind-body- spirit forpatients with life-threatening illnesses and will raise money to directly benefit the research we provide at City of Hope that benefit patients right here in Phoenix.”
